Objective
The Migraine Trust wanted to improve understanding of migraine symptoms amongst HCPs in primary care as well as raise awareness of the charity to ensure patients were signposted to their services when appropriate.
Strategy
Our field team conducted pre-campaign qualitative research, surveying HCPs within our network on their knowledge of the charity as well as symptoms of migraine and confidence when diagnosing. Results were analysed and presented to the client.
Moving on, via our education packs, we delivered leaflets, letters and posters directly to primary care clinicians to improve knowledge about migraine and the charity.
To conclude the campaign, our field team re-surveyed HCPs within our network and presented an analysis of results to understand whether the education packs and information had a met the two objectives of the campaign; awareness and knowledge.
Result
“We chose to work with IDS as they have strong links with HCPs in primary care. With demands on clinicians being so high, in order to achieve cut through to raise awareness of migraine within GP practices, we felt IDS’s education pack service would provide a higher chance of reaching the right people. Results of the campaign were encouraging, in particular around having more confidence to talk about migraine with patients as well as awareness of the charity. We enjoyed working with IDS, who were supportive of our campaign goals and the outcomes we wanted to achieve.”
